Such an incredibly beautiful song from BJ The Chicago Kid and Kendrick Lamar, it has a smooth jazz feel to it with piano and bass line. Kendrick’s pain-struck flow that has you fight back that lump in your throat, and taking in the story. BJ The Chicago Kid taking you to that place… Yup perfection, Enjoy! from his Pineapple Now-Laters out now!
I didn’t think I’d have anything to post for Valentine’s day, Thank god for Kendrick Lamar and MMG’s Gunplay for dropping this track. It has a Outkast ATLiens feel to it. I just heard it and I already have it on repeat!
Just something dope to hit y’all off with. Saw this floating around a lot, so I fidure why not dope it here on BMB. A cut from Terrence Martin’s “The 4 Luv Suite” album coming soon!
Today is the Late Aaliyah’s Birth day, and I know I should post one of her songs, but when I heard Kendrick Lamar’s Blow My High, it became one of my favorite track on the strength on how he put the R.I.P Aaliyah in there.
Aaliyah Dana Haughton was born January 16, 1979 and died August 25, 2001 from a plane crash going back to America from the Bahamas. It was and still is a heart breaking and tragic loss for all us fans and beyond. I don’t think RnB has ever seen any like Aaliyah since.
Slowed down, turned up smooth type groove. That late night somethings bout to happen track off The Kendrick Lamar EP. The Chopped and screwed verse in the begining is crazy and sets the tone, giving this west coast artist that dirty south vibe. The quickly switches it up to give you his classic sounds.
After hearing Schoolboy Q’s Setback Mixtape I knew I had to check his catalogue of work. Schoolboy Q along with Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock, formed a crew under TDE (Top Dawg Entertainment) called Black Hippie.
This track Blessed is dope! With its smooth melodic beat that you just want to get blem too. Schoolboy q and Kendrick Lamar putting their heart and soul on a track, you can’t fail. From his up and coming Habits & Contradictions droping January 14, 2012.
Kendrick Lamar quickly became one of my favorite artist, if not the favorite artist if I had to choose, next to Pun of course. People usually have that one album tha made an impact on them, I finally went through that when I heard Section 80, I played that none stop for months and it’s still not played out, I don’t think it will ever be the case. Anyways hears a dope track for your listening pleasures.
